We now offer Kitten Kindy at Fulham Gardens Veterinary Surgery.

What is it you may ask?

For 1 hour per week in our socialisation room; new kitten owners are now able to bring along their new members of the family to have a fun interactive playtime! 

Kitten kindy graduates will gain vital social skills that will set them up for the rest of their lives in a relaxed environment.

Your new kitten will gain confidence in the below:

• Using their cat carriers
• Being weighed on scales
• Being handled by other people (i.e vets and nurses)
• Household objects and textures
• Other animals

This will highly reduce any stress associated with visiting the vet, new experiences and more!

Lots of people stop bringing their cats to the vet for vital health examinations as it can cause a lot of stress to our feline friends who unlike dogs usually only leave the house for vet visits. By bringing your new kitten to kindy they can learn to feel much more comfortable in the clinic and hopefully then go on to continue enjoying coming here for many years to come!

Resulting in happier, healthier and a longer life for our feline friend. Kitten Kindy is also a lot of fun!
