My vet career journey started in Kathmandu, Nepal where I grew up with pet cows and goats. I finished my bachelor’s in veterinary sciences in Nepal a decade ago, then pursued a DVM from University of Adelaide in 2020. My passion for medicine and emergency care has consistently stayed same and it has led me down this career path to be in the veterinary profession.
Being with animals all day, caring for them and making pet Owner feel better is what I enjoy the most. I feel proud and happy that I chosen this profession which allows me to be voice of fur babies. It is a privilege to be able to enrich people and their pets’ lives through the invaluable knowledge I have gained throughout my career thus far.
My special interests are in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, radiology and emergency medicine. I want my patients to be pain free and receive the optimum standard of care that they deserve.
Away from workplace, I love spending time with my two kids and wife. We all enjoy going for long drives, exploring new places and we love camping and hiking. In my spare time, I play tennis and enjoy visiting the wineries of South Australia with my friends.
