Hello! I'm Harriett. I was lucky enough to start working with Pets and their People in November 2014 after doing work placement at Fulham Gardens while studying the Cert IV in Vet Nursing. I felt so welcome from the very first day and feel so blessed that I have been given the opportunity to work with such an amazing team.
I've had a huge love for animals since I was very little, in fact it's hard to find a baby photo of me without my first Dalmatian X, Wesley, right by my side! Since then my animal family has included a Budgie called Orbit, Buttons the bunny and the greatest friend ever, another Dally called Sadie. Unfortunately I don't have any pets at the moment (unless you count our neighbour's cats who have all decided that our backyard is the best playground on the street!) but I know it won't be long until my heart caves in and the house is once again filled with animals.
My favourite thing about being a Vet Nurse with Pets and their People is that I get to spend my days with like-minded people who are as passionate about looking after our furry/feathery/scaly friends as I am (it's also nice that no one judges you when you inevitably start talking in a 'baby' voice to all of our patients!).
I can't imagine spending my life doing anything else and I really look forward to meeting and getting to know you and your pets.
