I came to the field of veterinary medicine by a somewhat convoluted route. I have always loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, but through some interesting adolescent choices studied electronics briefly, then worked for Australia Post for nearly 20 years. I moved to Adelaide from Melbourne in the late 90s. Image my surprise and pleasure when the University of Adelaide announced the new Veterinary Medicine degree! With the support of my amazing husband, I graduated in 2015 with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Shortly after graduating, we relocated to Chicago, Illinois where I underwent the exhaustive accreditation process required for veterinary licensing in the USA. I worked in small animal practice until we returned home to Adelaide in 2019.

In 2020 I joined the amazing team at PATP and haven’t looked back. I am passionate about cooperative care and behavioural medicine, and want to help you and your furry family members live your best lives. I look forward to seeing you and your pets at our Unley clinic.
