Hi, I’m Natalie and I joined the team at Pets and their People in September 2021 as a qualified nurse!
I completed certificate 4 in Vet Nursing at TAFE in 2012. I then spent 10 years nursing between two local clinics before changing things up a bit and jumping into something new, here with the lovely team at PATP.
It’s a great feeling to be working amongst very like minded people. Everyone has a passion for the well-being and health of our patients and also genuinely cares for our clients. It really is a very rewarding feeling to be able to help people and their pets. I honestly couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else.
My favourite parts about vet nursing would be surgery/anaesthetics, tending to hospital patients and client interactions. I also have a huge passion for wildlife care and rehab and also kitten rearing/fostering and adoption.
When not at work, I’m usually spending time with my toddler, Archie, who is an extremely energetic little boy, currently going through the terrible twos . We also have 4 cats (thanks to years of fostering) and 2 dogs… also depending on the week, usually some foster kittens or some form or wildlife that needs care. It’s a busy household but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
I look forward to continuing to meet more and more clients and patients of PATP, and spending my working life doing something I absolutely love!
