My name is Romina, and I have been working with the amazing team here at Pets and Their People Veterinary Surgeries since April 2018.

I grew up with animals at my grandparent’s farm back in Italy and I always knew that as an adult I would choose to work in the veterinary field. Since the early age of 12, I was caring for stray kittens with cat flu in my neighbourhood with the help of the local vets. At 18 I was volunteering at a Ranch in Italy taking care of Horses. I was 28 years old when I decided to change my life and come to Australia. It was love at first sight with this beautiful country.

After my first 2 years here to my amazement, I discovered that there was the opportunity to become a veterinary nurse. There was not opportunity to pursue veterinary nursing in Italy. I completed my certificate IV in veterinary nursing and started my veterinary nurse career in West Ryde-Sydney.

I live with my 2 furry babies Goku & Jumper. I love giving pets cuddles and providing comfort when their owner isn't there. I find fulfillment in helping animals and their owners.
